Jr. Web Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Web Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design and be able to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites. The Web Designer will work closely with our development and marketing teams to ensure the website design aligns with our branding and marketing goals. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for client websites, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with our client’s branding.
Responsibilities
- Develop website layouts and design concepts that meet business requirements and align with brand standards.
- Create visually appealing designs that are user-friendly and optimized for conversion.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure that website designs are aligned with branding and marketing goals.
- Conduct user research and incorporate user feedback into designs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.
- Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
- Testing and improving the design of the website.
- Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
- Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
- Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
- Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in web design.
- Strong portfolio of previous web design projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first design.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Creative and open to new ideas.
